Minutes of meetings of the Committee of Management. The six earliest volumes are foolscap, ruled paper, bound in calf or cloth. The next six are 15" x 9". The last is 14" x 8 1/2". The first twelve volumes, ending in 1954, are handwritten. The thirteenth volume, including the minutes for about ten years, is a cloth-bound volume of typed sheets, which embraces the minutes of the principal sub-committees as well as those of the Committee of Management. The second volume includes the minutes of general meetings between 1853 and 1856. Future volumes of minutes are to take the form of volume 13. It is intended that the micro-filming programme will be extended to cover volumes more than 100 years old.
